Chub Chub Condition Grading Guide

At Chub Chub, we want parents to feel confident when buying pre-loved items. Every product goes through a physical inspection, steam cleaning, and is then graded based on actual condition.

Here's what our condition grades mean:

👉 Never Used

Description: Brand-new item. Could be sealed or opened but never used.

What to Expect:

  • No signs of use

  • May or may not include original packaging/tags

  • Perfect for gifting Post Cleaning: Will look brand new (because it is!)

👉 Barely Used

Description: Used once or twice, with minimal signs of use.

What to Expect:

  • No major scratches or stains

  • No major missing parts or damage unless mentioned. 

  • Post Cleaning: Will look as good as new

👉 Gently Used

Description: Used for a short period, with visible but mild wear.

What to Expect:

  • Light scratches, mild stains or gentle fading

  • No major missing parts or damage unless mentioned. 

  • Not ideal for gifting, but great for personal use

  • Post Cleaning: Will look clean and fresh, but some signs of use may still be visible

👉 Well Used

Description: Heavily used, with clear signs of wear and tear.

What to Expect:

  • Tough stains, faded fabric, or visible scratches

  • May have missing parts or damage. 

  • Functional and safe to use

  • Great for budget buyers

  • Post Cleaning: Will be hygienic but still visibly old or worn
